The OKTOP agitator unit upgrade is suitable for several applications including leaching reactors, precipitation reactors, filter feed tanks, and conditioners used in the flotation process. The retrofit not only improves the performance of the tank itself, but may also have a positive effect on other equipment downstream.

Conditioner agitator upgrade

The most common process problem occurring with conditioners is sanding in the tank, which may have a severe impact on process uptime and increase maintenance times. Sanding can be prevented by using the correct Metso OKTOP agitator. We offer agitators as an upgrade for operating conditioner installations that have operational problems or are worn out. We can also calculate and implement any required modifications to an existing tank and bridge arrangement to accommodate a new agitator.
