Our people

People are one of the most important topics and play a significant role in our sustainability agenda.  Today, Metso Outotec has 15,000+ employees in 50+ countries.

The well-being of our people is a priority. We measure employer engagement through a survey four times a year. The Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is one of the indicators we follow in employee engagement. Our results show that our eNPS is well above the manufacturing industry benchmark.

We are doing especially well when it comes to professional growth opportunities and peer relationships. The results also indicate that Metso Outotec values are aligned with our employees’ personal values.

Diversity and Inclusion

Our goal is to create an inclusive work environment that values diversity. Every person is valued and able to reach their full potential. We are renewing our recruitment process, correcting gender related pay gaps based on the global fair pay analysis as well as providing psychological safety trainings. We also measure D&I in the engagement survey quarterly.

Metso Outotec’s Code of Conduct defines the main principles of conducting business. Metso Outotec values diversity at the workplace and follows the principle of equal opportunities. Fair and equal treatment is expected from all employees towards every person in the company and this extends to contractors, vendors, customers and others with whom Metso Outotec interacts with.
