Geoff Foster

Head of Tailings Filtration at Metso Outotec

Geoff Foster is Metso Outotec Head of Tailings Filtration based at the Suzhou, China factory. Geoff has worked over 30 years in mining and minerals industries and with more than 20 decades working directly and indirectly in dewatering filtration. Currently, he resides in China working at the Suzhou factory, focusing and dedicating his work on Tailings Product Management and localisations into the best cost countries.

Guido Goerres

Product Manager, FFP filters

Guido Goerres has more than 20 years’ experience in the mining and metallurgical industries, in roles including testwork, flowsheet development and filter manufacturing. Guido holds a degree in process engineering and has worked on projects around the globe including Australia, Europe, South America, Africa and Asia. Previous roles at Metso Outotec include global business development, specialising in iron ore, ferro chrome, coal and tailings facility process and plant developments. Guido now leads Metso Outotec’s global product group for FFP pressure filters, with a particular focus on tailings solutions.
