Rashmi leads Digital Technologies for Metso Outotec’s Minerals business area. She has a long background leading IT and Digital transformations particularly in B2B Industrial companies. She’s responsible for our Intelligent Equipment strategy and business. Bulk ore sorting is a key part of this strategy and she is responsible to identify key sensor providers and develop strategic alliances with those to deliver our bulk ore sorting offering.
Technology Manager, Ore Sorting
Jörn has a master’s degree in minerals processing with more than 10 years of experience in the industry. After working as chief process metallurgist in several projects spanning anything from crushing & grinding to flotation and dewatering he has worked more than 7 years with sensor based ore sorting. Jörn is passionate about ore sorting and tasks include sortability evaluation, project management, technical sales, as well as process design and flowsheet development. In this time he has witnessed more than 200 projects and test works conducted on customer samples from all around the world.
Digital and Automation R&D Director
Ali is responsible for development of edge computing, cloud connectivity and smart controls for our intelligent equipment & bulk ore sorting offering. Prior to Metso Outotec Ali worked on the development of control and automation systems for over 17 years in multiple industries including Electrical Energy, Oil & Gas and Mining with special focus on mining ore sensors and sorting systems control. Ali has a passion to utilize the cutting-edge technologies to develop innovative solutions that help customers maximize value while reducing the environment footprint.
