METEC 2023: An eventful week of thought-provoking conversations

Metso shined at METEC with key client meetings, decarbonization talks, and tech sessions, leaving a mark in the industry

METEC was the 12th international metallurgical trade fair with congresses, and was held in Düsseldorf, Germany. More than 1000 exhibitors and over 50,000 visitors participated in the trade fair, with Metso being one of the exhibitors. We witnessed high foot traffic and had a lot of interest in our technologies on all 5 days. Some high-profile customers stopped by our booth and participated in important conversations about our green solutions, namely: Circored, NextGen pelletizing, and DRI Smelting amongst others.

All in all, METEC 2023 was a thrilling experience and everybody left with new perspectives regarding what is needed in innovation and technology for the decarbonization of the industry.
