Two ranges, maximized profitability
Nordberg® GP Series™ cone crushers family consists of two ranges. The "S" range is designed specially for the demanding secondary crushing applications whereas the general range can be used in secondary, tertiary and quaternary crushing applications.
The different ranges can be identified by the names of the crushers. All the "S" range crushers have the letter "S" in their model name.
Nordberg® GP™ cone crushers are an excellent choice whenever high reduction, first-class cubicity or great capacity is required.
The optimized design of the castings makes it possible to use a higher power rating than any other cone crusher with an equal head diameter. Cavity designs provide maximum yields for required high-quality end products. The stroke and cavity change feature allows crusher throughput to be easily adjusted to work in harmony with the rest of the crushing plant.
The steep head angle in Nordberg® GP crushers ensures trouble-free operation in varying feed conditions with a high reduction ratio. Continuing process and crusher control help to attain high availability with optimum production levels of desired end products.

Nordberg® GP Series™ cone crushers can be adapted to any specific production requirements with adjustments such as change of cavities, eccentric strokes, counter shaft speeds and different control methods.
The stroke change feature allows crusher throughput to be easily adjusted to work in harmony with the rest of the crushing plant. The adjustable stroke also allows you to attain proper choke feed conditions and optimum crusher settings, ensuring the maximum yield of a required end-product size.
The crusher automation, on the other hand, provides smooth process adaptation, full crushing process automation, and ensures that your crushing machine runs at its optimal performance level.
Easy installation, use and maintenance
Nordberg® GP Series™ cone crushers are engineered to be easy to maintain and service.
Using durable, optimized parts prolong the lifetime of equipment, but whenever service is required, Nordberg® GP™ crushers can be disassembled from above, and all heavy components can be lifted.
The crushers have lower installation height that reduces installation costs since smaller support structures and shorter conveyors are needed.
The crusher automation enables adjusting the GP crushers from a distance, which reduces risks and improves the safety of the plant personnel.
"S" range for secondary crushing stage
The "S" range of Nordberg® GP Series™ is designed for demanding secondary crushing where the feed flow variates, and the feed size can be anything between extra coarse and extra fine.
These crushers can take in extra-large feed material versus their physical size. The big feed opening prevents blockages and enables operating a primary crusher with more open closed side setting.
The constant feed opening and wear compensation, in turn, minimize the need to adjust primary crusher’s parameters during operation.
The "S" range crushers also have a steeper cavity. Thanks to this feature, it's possible to run trouble-free operation when the feed material is slabby, slippery or moist.
