Metso Outotec ES Series™ horizontal screens feature two unbalanced shaft lines rotating in opposite directions to generate a high-energy elliptical motion providing a strong stratification of the bed depth and high screening accuracy. This deceptively gearless solution is more efficient than conventional horizontal screens with linear motion, and more reliable than other elliptical motion screens.

Durable screen design
ES Series™ horizontal screens’ shaft lines are made of Metso Outotec’s Modular Vibrators (Metso Outotec MV™) being flange mounted to the side walls and synchronized by a cardan shaft. Each MV™ modular vibrator includes two bearings providing very long bearing life.
The side walls and the cross members are weld free to accommodate the fatigue stress.
Adjustable to increase capacity and performance
ES Series™ horizontal screens can be fitted with either tensioned screening panels or modular snap on panels. The screen angle is adjustable from 0-10° to increase the capacity when needed. Stroke and Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) parameters can be set up within a wide range to meet optimal performance.
The integrated feedbox is very deep and long to allow easy interface with the feed conveyor. Furthermore, the design provides immediate particle distribution over the first panel row of the top deck enabling higher efficiency.
Easy maintenance and safe access
ES Series™ horizontal screens meet the high health and safety standards. The comfortable room between the decks is a strong health and safety feature resulting in safer and faster panel replacement.
