Features
Edmeston SX® absorption towers and pump tanks are made of acid-resistant stainless steel.
Thanks to the special alloy used, the traditional brick lining is not needed, which reduces the weight of towers and pump tanks substantially. Removing the brick lining also eliminates the risk of loose bricks entering the system and damaging the pumps or blocking the heat exchangers.
Lighter Edmeston SX® absorption towers (including the packing, mist eliminators, and distributor) can be preassembled before they are lifted into position. This makes the installation notably faster, which reduces plant downtime. Another advantage of the lighter equipment is that it requires less foundation work.
