Outotec announces planned retirement of Deputy CEO Seppo Rantakari


Outotec's Deputy CEO Mr Seppo Rantakari will retire according to the earlier agreed plan in the spring 2010. On March 1, 2009 he will leave his position as Deputy CEO and also resign his position as a member in the Executive Committee. Seppo Rantakari will continue to serve the company as Senior Adviser to the CEO in corporate development issues until his retirement.


Outotec's current Chief Financial Officer and member of the Executive Committee, Mr Vesa-Pekka Takala will assume the position of CEO's substitute, effective as of March 1, 2009.
