ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

Availability of WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is increasing and so is the need for its sustainable recycling. The valuable waste derived from WEEE represents a growing revenue source, which is possible to treat profitably if you have a professional partner to support in designing the flowsheet and delivering the right type of process technology to suit your particular feed suite.

Join us for this first of two webinars where our Metals experts, Lauri Närhi and Stephen Hughes, will identify some of the most common eScrap facilities’ design challenges. Our speakers will also share their insights on how building an integrated plant or standalone equipment can impact your business.

After this webinar, you will understand

  • key technical issues to be addressed when smelting e-scrap
  • the environmental factors you need to take into consideration and how to minimize emissions, water usage and recover slag as a valuable by-product from an e-scrap smelter
  • the rough financial impacts when building an integrated e-scrap processing plant or using standalone equipment
  • what are the typical project phases to optimize CAPEX and OPEX
  • how Metso Outotec can support you in feasibility studies, process flowsheet and plant design, and in technology delivery

Webinar duration is 1 hour including Q & A, This webinar will be in English

We also hope you can then join us for our second webinar on this interesting topic where we will go into further details on the metallurgy and some of the more specific technical aspects of e-scrap smelting.
