HSC is one of the first software packages to combine versatile chemical, thermodynamic, and mineral-processing features. Thermochemical calculations are useful, for example, when developing new chemical processes and improving existing ones. Because the software enables you to make quick and easy calculations using a standard computer, it has a wide range of educational, industrial, and research applications.
HSC also contains modules for mineral processing and particle calculations, which are integrated with an extensive mineral database. Modules and databases are accessed via a dynamic and fully customizable menu.
We are excited to announce the latest version of our HSC Chemistry 9.7 software. The release contains several functional improvements and minor bug fixes across the software in addition to the following highlights.
- Neural networks allow easy encapsulation of multi-dimensional data into a fast and compact format, ready to be used in HSC SIM’s calculations. They can be used for fitting experimental data without knowing the underlying equational relationship of the data. Neural networks are like a black box, capable of reproducing and interpolating the learned data. They engage artificial intelligence into your process models.
- The new Reference Streams Dialog enables users to select reference streams and fit flotation kinetic parameters for individual stages, making it easier to study stage recoveries.
