Outotec wins grinding mill contracts worth over 30 million euro

OUTOTEC OYJ PRESS RELEASE, AUGUST 29, 2007


Outotec has won two new grinding technology orders, one from Boliden of Sweden and one from Kazzinc of Kazakhstan. These two contracts are worth over EUR 30 million.


Boliden has awarded Outotec a contract to supply a primary autogenous mill for Tara Mine's lead-zinc ore project in Ireland, to replace Tara's old rod mill - ball mill circuit, and a regrinding pebble mill for Aitik Mine's copper ore project in Sweden.  Both mills will be delivered during 2009.


Kazzinc has awarded Outotec a contract to supply two ball mills for Kazzinc's project in Kazakhstan. The ball mills will be located in the secondary stage after high pressure roller grinding, and they are due for delivery to site in the first half of 2009.
