Outotec to open offices in India and Kazakhstan to serve the growing markets

Outotec, a leading global developer and supplier of technologies for the minerals processing and metallurgical industries, has established subsidiaries in New Delhi, India and in Almaty, Kazakhstan in order to better serve the growing markets in those countries.


"Expanding our geographical presence is one part of our growth strategy. In India there is high potential for growing our business due to the rapid increase in metals demand. We already have several clients in the region and this office will help us serve them better", informs Tapani Järvinen, President and CEO of Outotec and continues: "Kazakhstan has vast mineral resources and is currently building up the mining and metals industry. We have had a representative office there for several years. To confirm our presence, we have now established a legal company in Almaty to provide sales services and technical support to our customers in Kazakhstan and the surrounding countries."
