When did you start at Metso Outotec and in which position?
I joined Outotec in 2017, as a summer trainee in Global Sales Support. As a Sales Support trainee, I was in charge of quotations and sales orders to market areas. I worked closely together with market areas and coordinated everything between them and internal stakeholders, such as our technical support, procurement, pricing and logistics.
What kind of other roles have you had?
After the traineeship, I was offered to continue as a Sales Support Specialist. The tasks remained similar, but I was given more responsibility: for example, I was now in charge of my own market areas. After a while I applied to a role of Senior Sales Support Specialist and started working with more complex cases. Also, I was now responsible for cases around specific technologies. During my time in Sales Support, I learned a lot about international business, cultural differences, supply chain management, as well as different technologies and systems.
