Challenge:
Site wanted to improve wear life. The existing pump had rubber wear components that had the following average life cycle.
- Impeller – 4,500hrs
- Suction liner – 3,000hrs
- Case liner – 4,000hrs
Solution:
We analysed the process and determined MDM650 the right pump size to maximize wear life. This pump was equipped with metallic wear components.
Result:
The new pump has experienced improved wear life across the board.
